What this website collects when you write to us or book a call, what we do with it, and what you can ask of us.

Who we are
This website, btxgaming.com, is run by BTX Gaming. We build and run a casino platform for operators. In this policy, "we" means BTX Gaming and "you" means a visitor to this site.
This policy covers the website only. The platform and services we provide to operators are covered by the written agreement for them, and the players of those operators are covered by each operator's own privacy policy.

What we collect
We collect what you give us, and what any website records in the course of working.
- The contact form: your name, your email address, your company, the stage you pick, your message, and whether you asked for a call or sent a question.
- The booking page: it is run by Google Calendar. What you enter there goes to Google and into our calendar, and Google's privacy policy applies to that page.
- Email: anything you send to hello@btxgaming.com.
- Server logs: our hosting provider records the internet address, browser and time of each request, as every host does.
- Analytics: on the live site we use Google Analytics. It sets cookies and records the pages you open, roughly where you are and how you got here. It does not tell us who you are.
The site has no accounts, no payments and no gambling. It is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
What we use it for
- To answer you, and to arrange the call you asked for.
- To write the proposal you asked for, and to follow up on it.
- To see which pages visitors read, so we can improve the site.
- To keep the form free of spam and abuse.
Where the law asks us to name a legal basis: answering an enquiry is a step toward a contract with you; analytics and spam protection are our legitimate interest in running a working website; for anything beyond that, we ask you first.
How we keep spam out
The form has a field that people never see and a minimum time to fill it in. A submission that fills the hidden field or arrives too fast is dropped without being sent. We also limit how many submissions one internet address can make in ten minutes. That count lives in memory for those ten minutes and is not stored.
Who else handles it
A few providers handle data on our behalf, on our instructions and under their own terms.
- Resend delivers the contact form to our mailbox.
- Vercel hosts the website and keeps its server logs.
- Google runs the booking page and the analytics.
These providers operate in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires safeguards for moving data there, the providers' standard contractual terms provide them.
We do not sell your information, and we share it with nobody else, unless the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries stay in our mailbox while we are talking to you, and for up to two years after our last exchange, so we can pick the conversation up again. Then we delete them.
- Server logs are kept by our host for a short period and then discarded.
- Analytics data is kept by Google for up to fourteen months.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. Google Analytics sets its own on the live site, with names that begin with _ga, to tell returning visitors from new ones.
If you visit from the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, Analytics does not load until you allow it in the small notice at the bottom of the page, and your answer is kept in your browser for a year. To know whether to ask, the site reads the country of your connection from a header our hosting provider adds to each request; the country itself is not stored. Elsewhere, Analytics runs by default.
Wherever you are, you can block or delete its cookies in your browser settings, and Google offers a browser add-on that stops Analytics altogether.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to how we use it, or ask for a copy of it. Write to hello@btxgaming.com and you will have an answer within a month. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Changes
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a change matters to you, we will say so here.
